Hi Ben,
I’m at the Adventure Camp now and it’s a really
great place! Thanks again for telling me about
it. The camp started a month ago. My group is
the second one here – we arrived four days ago.
We’ve played games and we’ve been fishing in
the mountain lake. Tomorrow, we’re going to
explore a cave. I’m feeling both excited and a
little scared because I haven’t done that before.
But the camp isn’t only about having fun and
adventures. We’re also learning a lot about the
environment and how to go green. We’ve had
some practical classes about eco-friendly
activities. We’ve learnt why it’s important for
the environment to recycle some materials and
save energy and water every day. On Friday,
we’re going to do some clean-up activities in
small groups. Mine is going to work near the
river. I think it’s a good idea. When we learn
how to do those things, we can organise events
like that in our hometowns.
