(GROWUP INTERNPRENEUR PROGRAM - 2022)

1. Why should we do an internship at Growup Group?


Ans: This internship will give you ample work exposure with industry experts. The internship is
going to be Virtual/Remote and you’ll be a part of the startup culture. The roles and
responsibilities are very diverse with a distributed workforce and flexible working hours. We
offer live projects and experience being a part of the gig economy. There is a large learning curve
and a ladder for growth within the organization.

2. Where can I find Internship roles and opportunities at Growup Group?


Ans: You can check all our internships on Internshala, All Active Jobs, and Growup’s LinkedIn
Page.

3. What will be the tenure and the joining date of my internship?


Ans: The internship is for 90 days. The Date of Joining will range between 2 to 45 days, from the
date of the final round of interviews.

4. I’ve applied for an internship in Growup before, will this affect my current candidature?
Ans: No, this will not affect your current candidature. You can re-apply, provided there has been a
minimum of 3 months gap from the previous application.

5. What is the overall recruitment process?


Ans: The process comprises the initial CV screening, Telephonic Round, and final VC Panel
Round. If selected, you will receive a call and offer email from the HR team within 72 hours.

6. How long after I apply will I hear back from the recruiting team?
Ans: In case you are shortlisted in the CV screening round, the HR will get in touch with you
within maximum 10 working days.
7. I’ve applied for multiple roles. Can I be considered for all of them?
Ans: Yes, but ensure that you apply to a maximum of 3 roles only, as your application will be
screened on the basis of your top three preferences.

8. How long does the hiring process take?


Ans: Process time varies across all our roles and is contingent on role availability. The process
usually takes 7-10 working days from the initial CV screening round to the final offer.

9. I applied for another role and haven’t heard back. What can I do?
Ans: Since we hate to break the bad news of rejection, please re-inquire post 20 working days via
email if you haven’t heard back from us.
Moreover, we save all applications in our database. If we find your profile suitable for any future
role, the hiring team will reach out to you in the shortest possible time.

10. Are Growup’s internships paid?


Ans: Yes, Growup Group provides a stipend of Rs 3000 lumpsum that all interns can avail at the
completion of their internship.

11. Will I have to travel for my interviews?


Ans: No, the complete hiring process is virtual and so is the internship.

12. Can I check the status of my application?


Ans: Since we don’t have an open in-house hiring platform, you will not be able to track the live
status of your application.

13. Can I take classes toward my degree while participating in my internship?


Ans: Yes, we allow all our interns to bring relative balance between their education and the
internship. The working hours are completely flexible, thus, allowing interns to attend their
full-time courses while pursuing their internship.
14. Can I join at any time of the year?
Ans: Yes, we run Growup’s Internpreneur Program throughout the year.

15. Is there a centralized internship coordinator who interacts with students until they arrive?
Ans: You can address all your queries to your POC and can write to us at hrd@vgrowup.com

16. Will there be an orientation program?


Ans: Yes, the orientation/induction program will take place on the first day of your joining. It will
consist of an introduction to the Growup Group, its brands, and your defined KRAs and KPIs in
the entire internship tenure.

17. Are there internship opportunities for First and Second-year students?
Ans: Yes, the Internpreneur Program is open for all undergraduate and postgraduate students
from any stream and semester/year of study.

18. If I get rejected in the hiring process, will I be eligible to re-apply to the Internpreneur
Program?
Ans: The candidates who are rejected once and are still interested in doing an internship at
Growup Group can re-apply to us after 3 months in the same domain. For applicants who wish to
apply to a different domain/ profile, we can consider your application again post 7 days from the
previous application irrespective of your prior rejection in any other profile.

19. Is there any possibility to build my future career at Growup?


Ans: Yes, interns who perform exceptionally well during the tenure of their internship can be
promoted to the Senior Intern position. We even offer Independent Consultant roles to 1st and 2nd
year students; and Pre-Placement Offers to final-year students.

20. How do we collaborate in a Remote Internship?


Ans: All the day-to-day conversations take place over a personalized software named Zoho Cliq.
We also do all audio/video meetings via this platform only. For smooth flow of the information,
you will be added and introduced to the relevant department groups on Day 1 of your joining.

21. Will I be allowed to leave in the middle of my 3 months Internship?


Ans: Yes, we permit interns to resign before the completion of their internship in case of any
unforeseen circumstances but they would be deemed ineligible for the perks of the internship.
22. What are the prerequisites for the internship?
Ans: A working laptop, working knowledge of G-Suite/MS Office, required stationery (pen,
notebook, stable internet connection (speed above 40 Mbps), web conferencing apps like Zoom
and Gmeet are a few prerequisites of working with Growup.
Other than that, good intent, learning attitude, and commitment for three months are our
expectations.

23. What should I do to get selected for the internship?


Ans: We focus more on the intent of the candidate over their abilities.
So, to work at Growup the candidate must have an open mindset and positive attitude. Being
feedback-savvy is a must!

24. What are the perks of the internship?


Ans: All interns will be provided the Letter of Experience and LinkedIn Recommendation. We
offer a Letter of Recommendation to the star performers. We also recognize and reward the hard
work of our interns by organizing “Intern of the Week”.

25. Can I work in multiple departments in Growup at the same time?


Ans: If we feel that the candidate has the required skillset and the required bandwidth to devote
time to multiple departments, we can definitely consider him/her to work in a maximum of 2
departments simultaneously.

26. Whom will I report to?


Ans: Reporting Manager’s Credentials will be given to you on your joining date, in the induction
session. You will have to report to him/her throughout the tenure of the internship.

27. Why is there an Exclusivity Clause while interning with Growup?


Ans: The Growup Internpreneur Program is a rigorous internship program. We expect the intern
to give a minimum of 5 hours a day to this internship. In order to make sure that the internship
productivity is not compromised, we do not allow the candidates to do a

parallel internship with any other company in the same/different domain in the entire 3 months
tenure.
Also, it will be equally difficult for the candidate to justify the overlapping internships in their
future corporate journeys. Hence, the Exclusivity Clause in the internship agreement.
