Issues with attending workshops

19. What is the difference

between Assistance for Candidates and Special Provisions?

20. What if I can't attend a

workshop because I have a wedding/party/sporting event/holiday/social event?

Attendance at all three workshops is mandatory and an assessment conducted at each. Candidates must select from the workshop location options offered in the enrolment form. Candidates who have prospective problems with attending workshops, PRIOR to enrolment can apply for Assistance for Candidates. Only valid qualifying situations will be considered and approval MUST be gained prior to enrolment in the Capstone module. You are extremely unlikely to qualify for Assistance for Candidates nor Special Consideration on this basis. The timetable has been released over a year before enrolment opens so candidates can determine whether they are able to attend the Capstone workshops. If you enrol regardless and are not granted special consideration for non attendance on these grounds, you may not pass the module.
