    Homework 3:
    1. Determine the wind load on the sheeted roof of the house. The house stands in a suburb of
    Pretoria at a height of 1400 m above sea level. Consider the case with the door opened and
    the side windows closed but with a permeability of 20%.

    2. Determine the wind loading against the multi storey building if the wind blows from the
    North and determine the pressure distribution under the raft foundation as a result of the wind
    loads. The building is situated in a suburb of Cape Town. Neglect internal pressures.
