Regulations for the Candidates of the B.A.

in Communication Management

Academic Year 2023 (Admission)

1. The interview test for candidates of the B.A. in Communication Management, Faculty of
Communication Arts, International Program, Chulalongkorn University, Academic Year 2023,
Admissions Round, is an Analytical and Critical Thinking Test (ACT).
2. The ACT will be conducted in an Online Face-to-face interview format.
3. Time: April 9, 2023 from 08.00-16.00 hrs.
4. To be prepared in advance by the candidates:
a) A communication device, such as a desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or smart phone.
b) An internet connection.
c) Download the Zoom Cloud Meetings Application for the interview test
5. All candidates must add the Line Account of the group coordinator (page 3) on Saturday, April
8, 2023 from 17.00 - 18.00 hrs.
6. All candidates need to report and register themselves to the Faculty by taking a selfie with their
National ID card or Passport and send to the Line account.

8. After a successful registration according to steps no. 6 and 7, the group coordinator will provide
the candidates with the Zoom Meeting ID and Password for their interview test.
9. Any attempt of cheating is prohibited during the interview test. If any violation of this
regulation is found, the interview test is to be considered invalid and the candidate will be
banned from any application to the Faculty for one year.
10. All eligible candidates must report, register, and take the Analytical and Critical Thinking Test
(Interview test) on the specified date and time. Any failure to participate in the interview test
will be considered a waiver.
11. The decision of the committee is considered final.
 Rules for Analytical and Critical Thinking Test (ACT)

ACT Test is designed to assess candidates’ analytical and critical thinking. It is a 10-minute
online face-to-face interview test conducted using Zoom Cloud Meetings program.

All candidates must comply with all of the following rules.

1. A candidate must prepare his/her communication devices, internet connection and Zoom Cloud
Meetings program. A candidate must ensure that s/he has a stable or uninterrupted internet
connection.
2. ACT Test has a specific amount of time allotted and specific number of questions. Once the timer
expires, the test will be considered finished, even if the candidate does not answer all of the
questions.
3. ACT Test is an exclusive interview test between a candidate and interview test committee.
Therefore, the candidate must ensure privacy. Other individuals coming in and out of the room
during the test are not allowed.
4. The test will be conducted via Zoom Cloud Meetings program, so the candidate is required to
turn on his/her VDO camera throughout the whole session. Headphones, Bluetooth and wireless
over ear-headphones are not allowed.
5. If the candidate's internet access fails during the test, s/he is allowed to reconnect the Zoom Cloud
Meetings program. However, the interview test progress may be lost and cannot be recovered.
The test will continue and finish within the allocated time period.
6. The candidate must ensure that there is no other software running, and no other electronic devices
being used at the time of the test.
7. Any internet search, online sources access or receiving assistance from other people during the
test is prohibited. Such actions are considered as cheating which is a serious offence and subject
to disciplinary action.
8. There will be no make-up or time extension for any cases.
9. The test is confidential. It cannot be copied, posted online, recorded, or reproduced in any manner,
at any time. The exam questions and answers cannot be disclosed to anyone during and after the
test.
