Objective
To serve and support all students, staff, and the RCS community as an educational leader in teaching,
pedagogical and curriculum development and implementation, and instructional best practices and interventions
as the RCS District High School Math Coach. I aim to coach secondary math teachers, and facilitate and develop
collaborative teams that grow in mastery of proven intervention strategies to make math mastery accessible for
ALL students.

Develop, Facilitate, Coach, Support, and Monitor Implementation and Effectiveness of Tier 1 and 2
interventions for Stoney Creek HS
Run the Academic Center Support – The Building Intervention System for all students as well as the
building test support center
Work with students scheduled into the Academic Center on individualized intervention and support
plans addressing their individual needs-such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and a variety of
other medical issues, as well as content, organizational, and executive functioning support. Also,
communicate with their parents and teachers on progress and action plans.
Create, lead, and facilitate a co-taught math teachers’ cohort at SCHS—I plan, organize, and meet with
and support the co-taught teachers in Tier 1 interventions. I arrange, provide the framework, and lead
them to do instructional observations and rounds and reflection process
Provide resources and targeted instructional strategies for departments and teachers
Consult, model, and lead teachers and educational staff on best practices, interventions,
accommodations, enhancements and supports for students and classroom practices
Push in to classes to provide instructional support, such as LA9 Essentials, Co-taught math classrooms,
and other classes to support and coach
Build strong relationships with teachers, support staff, administrators, and counselors in order to
facilitate our Building Team process, collaborate with and collect data from all stake holders, problem
solve, create action plans, monitor implementation, ensure accountability, and reflect on growth
opportunities
Consult with, teach, and empower students with strategies for learning and accessing supports
Consult and collaborate with parent/guardians in providing information, data, and resources, and
develop pathways of support
Coordinate 504 eligibility and accommodation plans for roughly 75 students - Communicate with
students, families, teachers, administration, and other educational staff to ensure access to learning and
supports are in place for all students
Newly trained in 504 law, accommodations, district procedure and procedural safeguards
Develop, implement, and work with all students, teachers, parents, and support staff on interventions
and accommodations for Academic, Behavior, Medical and Attendance needs
Collect, Organize, and Share Data for students, courses, building, and systems and facilitate the use of
Data to inform stakeholders of trends, effectiveness, and further action needed
Collect Data for intervention as well as enrichment needs and schedule placement of students
Work collaboratively with District Learning Consultants and Administrators in systems reviews, data
collection, 504 consultation, and best practices
Collect Data for 31A fund usage
Help support ACE hybrid and Credit Recovery models (Tier 2.5-3 intervention)
Facilitate PD, Building NPDL team, and assist in New Teacher Development
SSD Coordinator for PSAT Testing and work with College Board’s Accommodations process
Develop and Manage paraeducator staff for general education students
Advocate for Equity in academic and building routines and systems (for example, charity week,
homework, intervention, etc.)
