I. Summary

Disaster management is the process of planning, preparing, and responding to natural

or human-caused disasters, in order to mitigate their impact on people, property, and

the environment. In order to lessen the risk of catastrophes and their effects, it entails a

systematic approach that integrates the activities of numerous organizations, agencies,

and people.

V. Documentary

Effective disaster management requires collaboration, coordination, and communication

between various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-governmental

organizations, community groups, and individuals. It also involves a continuous cycle of

planning, implementation, evaluation, and improvement to ensure that responses are

effective and efficient.
