1. Who are the story's main characters and what are their roles? Give atleast 4
characters and their roles.
Jordan Van Draanen - a classmate who is an up and coming musical performer.
Padgett Sawyer - a popular high school senior and social media influencer.
Cameron - The school “dork” and the person she’ll make over to become
elected prom king.
Kourtney Kardashian - Her sponsor and also the person she asks for advice.
2. What is the story all about?
An influencer who specializes in makeovers wagers that she can turn a polarizing
student into prom king in the plot.
3. What are some examples of technology used in the story?
The narrative makes use of a camera and a cellphone as technology.
4. What roles does technology play in the film?
She records her vlogs on her cellphone since she is an influencer. Although
Cameron is a street photographer, he uses his camera to record things that he
wants to keep to himself.
5. What are the story's positive and negative effects of technology?
Technology-related advantages of the story include the lesson she learnt about
not recording every beautiful occasion since you never know what can happen.

6. What are your takeaways from the film in terms of science and technology?
Technology is a byproduct of science, both are ways of knowing. I can connect
to two components of the science and technology in the movie: the lesson she
learnt from her actions and the effects she had on people around her.
7. Based on the movie, is Martin Heidegger's analysis of technology accurate?

Similar to Martin Heidegger's perspective on technology, which holds that
"Technological Items are Means to a Goal, Produced and Operated by Humans,"
The main character employed both people and technology to accomplish her
aim of gaining fans and
return to popularity.
8. What are some of your advice for today's millennials?
We don't need to look flawless or affluent in order to be loved and validated
since we weren't designed to live up to everyone's expectations or standards. If
someone doesn't like us, they never will, regardless of what we do. It's quite fine
to discuss specifics of our everyday life with others. But since what is kept private
cannot be damaged by others, we must set boundaries.
