Hello!
I just love the card on page 25.
The one that says: a good life is
a collection of happy moments.
Wonderfully, it’s true. You’re never
going to wake up every day in the
best mood possible, but something lovely will happen
that day – even if it’s just a really good cuppa whilst
cuddling up with the cats. I’m speaking from
experience here! It’s why I love handmade cards;
a friend could be having a really rough time of it, but
a little hello from you through the letterbox will put a
beaming smile on their face. This edition is teeming
with such positivity. Make a 2-in-1 card and
bookmark on page 37, celebrate someone’s new gaff “See which titles

Pick up your paint brush and master ombré
backgrounds with Ingrid Vichova
If you enjoy painting but have yet to try gouache, then this is the project for you.
Ingrid Vichova gets you off to a good start with her lovely selection of makes.
She starts by applying washes of background colour before painting dainty
flowers and foliage to compete the folk art look. Depending on how much water
you add, you can create similar effects to acrylic or watercolour.

Anyone can take a moment to declutter a closet, reorganise

But a lucky few get a little extra help from the queen of tidying

Cardmaking
made easy
New to the craft or often get stuck in a rut with your
layouts? Card sketches are here to save the day
Card sketches are a simple yet genius way to help your creativity flow. They act as templates
or layouts which you can use as a guide for your greetings. Francesca Vignoli has come up with
four pre-made sketches for you to copy. You don’t even need to print them out – simply follow
the shapes and layout shown on the sketch, then recreate them using your own papers and
embellishments. You’re welcome!
