An exciting experience

Questions
Where did you go?
Who did you go with? Did you see anyone there?
What did you see?
What activities did you do there? What were they like?
How was the experience?
Example 1:
Last month, I went to San Francisco to visit my relatives. Unfortunately, the
weather was pretty bad. It rained for five days! Fortunately, there are lots of things
to do indoors. We went shopping, ate at incredible restaurants, and visited a
chocolate factory. The weather was a little better on the weekend and we visited
Fisherman’s Wharf. Amazingly, on the last day, it was beautiful. So we rented
bicycles and cycled across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a great trip.
 Example 2:
Last summer, I had a wonderful adventure in Bolivia. My grandparents live in La
Paz, and my sister and I stayed with them. We went to a beautiful park and saw a
lot of birds. Unfortunately, I lost my camera, but I had my phone with me, and it
takes pretty good pictures. On the weekend, we took a bus to a small town to visit
my cousins. It was very high up in the mountains and the roads were really narrow.
It was pretty scary! We got there safely, fortunately. The last time I saw my
cousins was ten years ago. Amazingly, they looked exactly the same. It was so fun
to see them.

Workbook. My blog

I took an exciting trip to Scotland two years ago.  Fortunately, it was in spring so
the weather was really wonderful. I've never been to Scotland before so it was my
first experience there. My daughter and I took that trip together. Our first stop was
in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. We spent there three days. I've never seen
such incredible city. Fortunately, our hotel was situated in the center of city right
under Castle Rock. There's a really old and incredibly magnificent castle on the top
of the rock.  We had a half-day excursion in the Castle in our first day in
Edinburgh. In our second day we planned an excursion to Royal Yacht Britannia.
We decided to go there by foot. Unfortunately, it was really far from our hotel so
we were quite tired when got there. But I forgot my tiredness at all when I came at
the Royal Yacht.  It was extremely incredible feelings. I've never felt before
something like that. I think it was the most exciting trip I've had before.
