Question Choose a country you'd like to visit, and talk about its natural wonders.

 Student 1
I'd like to visit the United States. The longest river is the Missouri River. It's 2,341
miles (3,767 kilometers) long. The highest mountain is Mount McKinley. It's
20,320 feet (6,194 kilometers) high. The largest lake is Lake Superior. It's 49,305
square miles (127,700 kilometers).

 Student 2
I'd like to visit Greece. The longest river is the Allakmonas. It's 320 kilometers
(200 miles) long. The highest mountain is Mount Olympus. It's 2,919 meters
(9,576 feet) high. The largest lake is Lake Trichonida. It's 98.6 square kilometers
(38 square miles).
Example 1:
Mountains The highest mountain in California is Mount Whitney. It's around
14,152 feet tall (4,405 meters).
Waterfalls There are a lot of waterfalls around California. Yosemite National Park
has some of the most beautiful waterfalls.
Lakes The biggest lake in California is called the Salton Sea. It is a lake, but it's
filled with salt water, like the sea.
Oceans The Pacific Ocean runs along the coast of California.
Rivers The Colorado River is the longest river in California. It's 1,450 miles (2,330
km) long.
 
Example 2:
Costa Rica has many beautiful natural features. Much of the country is covered
with rain forest and beautiful mountains. The highest mountain is Mount Chirripό
in the Talamanca Range. It's about 12,500 feet high. Costa Rica borders the
Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean. There are a lot of fabulous beaches, like
Tamarindo Beach. Drake Bay on the Osa Peninsula is a great area to explore.
There are lots of beautiful waterfalls and rivers. The longest river in Costa Rica is
probably the San Juan River.
 
Example 3:
France has a lot of different natural features. In the east are the Alps. The tallest
mountain is Mont Blanc – it's 4,810 meters high (about 15,780 feet). There are lots
of glaciers in the Alps, although the largest glacier in the world is in Antarctica.
France also has a lot of beautiful beaches in towns such as Cassis and Cannes.
