II. World Wildlife Week celebration in Gir (2nd October to 8th October 2019)

G ir Ramatotsav (sports event) has been


organized since 2013 under the aegis of Late
Shri Shaktisinh Visana Memorial Gir Forest Staff
Welfare Association, Sasan-Gir. Gir Ramatotsav
program is carried out every year from 24th to 26th
January. Sports events that strengthen and help in
the team-building spirit, better coordination
among the staff members, boost physical and
mental strength, and reduces the stress in the front
line staff are conducted during the program. In this
three-day activity, a total of 18 sports events had
been organized successfully. The total number of
participants from 2013 to 2020 is shown in the
igure below. The whole event is supervised by the
President of the Gir Welfare Fund, Sasan-Gir. The
