Dear Mr Hill,

As a marketing student at southeastern Massachusetts university, I believe I have the

qualifications to be a salesperson or (sales employee) in your insurance company.

In my academic life, I completed, with high grades, courses in marketing methods and policies.
In addition, I took additional courses in Spanish and Portuguese to strengthen my oral and
writing of these languages and to familiarize myself with commercial terminology in foreign
languages. I think this is a desirable attribute for a company like Prudential, which has
branches or ( subsidiaries) in southern New England and in some foreign countries.

My job as a salesman in a large department store has helped me gain useful sales experience.
Recently, I worked as a receptionist at the National Hotel. In both ppositions or (role) I
received invaluable training in sales techniques and public relations.

As a member of several academic institutions, I had the opportunity to travel and participate
in plentiful civic activities. This experience has given me a better understanding of our
communities residents. I can say without hesitation or ( a doubt) that I am quite familiar with
the people I will work with if I get a job with your company.
