Ivan Pavlov

Ivan Pavlov was a Russian psychologist who primarily known


for his work on classical conditioning.Ivan was born in
september 26 , 1849 in Rayazan.
There are two types of classical conditioning conditioned
stimulus and unconditioned stimulus.
Conditioned stimulus
A conditioned stimulus is a stimulus that can eventually
trigger a conditioned response. Example lunch bell when
students hear the bell they become hungry.
Unconditioned stimulus
An unconditioned stimulus is a stimulus that leads to an
automatic response. Example the smell of your favorite food
which makes you hungry.
Conditioned reflexes and psychopathology and psychiatry are
some of the best books by Ivan Pavlov.
