NOTES on SENSORY

Sensory design architecture is an approach to architectural design that prioritizes the creation of

spaces that engage the senses and evoke emotional responses in the user. Sensory design is

rooted in the belief that our experience of the built environment is not just visual, but also tactile,

auditory, olfactory, and even gustatory.

The goal of sensory design architecture is to create environments that are not just functional, but

also engaging and memorable. This is achieved by incorporating sensory experiences into every

aspect of the design process, from the selection of materials and colors to the arrangement of

spaces and the use of lighting and sound.
