there is a 30% she will be successful on the house and 40% chance she will be successful on the
townhouse. If the success of one offer is independent of the other offer:
a. What is the probability she will be successful on at least one offer?
b. If she is successful on the townhouse offer, what is the probability she will be successful
on the house offer?
c. What is the probability she will not be successful on either offer?

2. A dermatologist is interested in the distribution of tattoos between males and females. A study
of BCIT students shows that 20% of students have a tattoo, 60% of the students are male and
10% of the students are males who have a tattoo.
