PEST ANALYSIS: MR. TACO

Political factors:

These are the policies or laws that influence the constitution of the company. First, the legal
provisions of the Sanitary Standard for Restaurants and Related Services approved by the
Ministry of Health. About the state regulations, the Restaurant Regulation was approved,
which contains conditions for the categorization, qualification, operation and supervision of
restaurants. In addition to this, the restaurant must comply with safety and accessibility,
contained in the General Law for Persons with Disabilities.

Economic factors:

For this year, authorities have estimated that the GDP level will increase because of an
improvement related to the external demand. Fortunately, according to statistics during the
last months fast food services are starting to grow again. On the other hand, inflation rate
effects are mainly higher prices for customers in areas such as house rent, food, transport
and communications. Due to the sanitary emergency, food business has been affected by a
low economic activity.

Social factors:

The social analysis around the heading of the company Mr. Taco, displayed as follows.
In the first place, Peruvians are the second consumers who eat out the most during the
week. Therefore, they are now increasingly concerned about their food ingredients.

On the other hand, the preferences, conditions and concerns when going to a restaurant or
ordering delivery have changed with the pandemic. Currently, these are related to how safe
they are and if they have all the certificates and anti-COVID-19 security measures to attend.
However, the consumption of vegetable protein products has been growing, which has led to
the appearance of new varieties of vegan products.

Technological factors:

Technological factors of pest analysis are mentioned below. Mr. Taco complements the
technology and resources in the establishments in terms of health, infrastructure, food and
equipment. The use of the Internet will be implemented for the propagation of
communications, such as: use of web pages, social networks, digital platform management
software, among others, in order to improve the image of the brand.
