Meeting Minutes

Date: 4th April 2019

Participants: AMW Team, Raveendra, Chinthaka, Jayan, Ekanayake

Objective: To Review AMW Process Audit findings

Points highlighted

1. Arrange controlled documents to weighing staff for material weights –AMW

2. Verify weighing scale daily up to more than its user range (Example: 100kgs if user range is 80
Kgs) and maintain records . Scale verifications up to 100 kg and verification weights should be
available at each scale/group of scale in order to ensure the convenience - AMW
3. Introduce process control for handling and movement of weighing scale -AMW
4. Verify carbon black weight accuracy before taking to Mixer platform & Mixer weighing scale is
used for rubber weighing- AMW
5. Online weighing scale is not used for oil weighing & use separate scale for that. Online
weighing scale design is not suitable as there exists only single load cell. Also some vibration
can be seen here (as per the conversation done with Mr. Jude Wasantha via over the phone
later, they will do five batches by weighing oil separately to polythene bags & give feedback
to CAMSO about this process). Auto oil-weighing system from single load cell to multiple (3/4)
load cells in order to assure the repeatability of accuracy – AMW
6. Specification will be provided for cured SG – Jayan
7. CMP results will be shared with AMW for last two deliveries (70 batches) – Jayan
8. AMW requires to ready for full process & QMS audit at any time from CAMSO side – AMW
9. Back up weighing scales will be maintained in future to use at emergency breakdown - AMW
