As a writing project, I’ve decided to take a campaign I’ve been writing for
years and dump the story from fandoms into it to see how the story would unfold.
This prelude to the stories in Eberron will show you where the characters you
know and love will fit into the tale and their altered origins. This is also the
place for you to give feedback and let me know which of these stories you’d like to
see written, first.
Chapter 1: Poll
Chapter Text
So, what is Eberron? It’s a story with magic, technology, and noir in the wake of a
hundred-year war. Most canon lore will be intact (for those that are fans of
Eberron), but plenty of things will be different, especially from story to story.
For instance, in the She-Ra continuum the Siberys Dragonmark is a gift from the
Progenitor Artefacts, whilst in the RWBY continuum, they are a result of the
Maidens. What does that mean, exactly? Well, you’ll just have to find out. 🙂
This prelude to the stories in Eberron will show you where the characters you know
and love will fit into the tale and their altered origins. This is also the place
for you to give feedback and let me know which of these stories you’d like to see
written, first.
As I post the characters, I’ll split them into two sections: PCs and NPCs. I’ll be
writing this campaign by making actual character sheets, stat blocks, and rolling
dice (with perhaps some dice rolls fudged to fit with how the original stories
went, but that’s what writing’s about). PCs stand for Player Characters, and
they’ll be the main characters. NPCs are, of course, non-player characters, and
I’ll be listing some info about them, and their abilities. Keep in mind that even
if I name a class for them, that does not mean I’m using an actual PC stat block
for them.
Finally, I will not be naming original characters that show up in the campaign,
unless they would show up in a character’s backstory, and even then, I’ll only
reference them. Actual information about these characters will have to wait on when
I write the story itself.
Kudos
