I. OBJECTIVES
Specific Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the pupils are expected to:
1. Learn and understand the different sets of objects.
2. Know how to classify objects based on their corresponding types of sets.
3. Enjoy sorting of objects while learning and start to appreciate the
existence of objects or things around them.
III. PROCEDURE
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Greetings:
The teacher will start the class with a short prayer, greetings, checking of
attendance, and reminders on things they need to do during the class.
2. Priming Activities
2.1 Review
In this part, the teacher will present a video related to the topic.
2.2 Motivation
C. Generalization
Ask the pupils the following questions as far as their understanding of the lesson
is concern:
How can we say that the group of objects is a set?
How can we say that the group of objects is not a set?
D. Application
The teacher will present additional activities.
Based on the previous activity, the teacher will divide the class in to two
groups.
The two groups will find any items that they can find inside the classroom that
can be considered sets; the first group to give more types of sets within one
minute will have a prize.

V. ASSIGNMENT
Cut any illustrations that can be seen in old books or magazines that can be classified as
sets and label them to indicate to what type of set they belong.
