EXERCISE 1: READING COMPREHENSION:

 Read the questions.


 Skim and scan the passage
 Write the answers in not more than 8 words.
 Do not write full sentences; write phrases / keywords
 Do not begin or write in capital letters unless necessary.
 Do not put a full stop.
 If it is a 2 line answer for 2 marks, use each line for each answer.
Eg. Give 2 details

 If it is a 1 line answer for 2 marks, use ‘and’ or a comma or a semi colon.
Eg. Give 2 details

 Marks will be deducted for the following if it is visible.
