TEACHING GOALS & OBJECTIVES:


What are your goals and objectives for this class?

Class Environment: Before Meeting Your Class

How will you arrange/organize your classroom? Seating: Depending if the tables are individual I will
arrange them in even columns and rows. If the
classroom has group tables I will arrange the students
in groups. Groups will be a free choice but if I see that
there are distractions there will be assigned seatings.

Organization for students: will have binders that


include a table of contents and organized notes. The
binder will also include a hole-punched folder for
students to place assignments and notes. Students will
have a shelf in the classroom to place their binders in
hopes they won’t be misplaced.

Overall classroom organization: Bins/Folders/Shelves


labeled and organized for the following categories:
Graded papers, missing work, finished work,
curriculum/unit worksheets, missculaneous paperwork.

If the classroom is big enough I will have an area for


books, legos, and fidgeting for free time purposes.

My desk will be located at the back or side of the room.

included. For the first couple of weeks of curating our
classroom rules, I will present them at the beginning of
our lesson. Then I will print them out and they can

*I will communicate with students that disrespect,
unkindness, disruption, bullying, ect. Will not be
tolerated in the classroom. If a disruption were to
happen between students or a student and myself I will
conduct a circle after school to discuss the manner.
Students who fail to comply or continue the behavior
will be sat outside for the remainder of the classroom or
sent to the principal office. If the disruption continues
to occur there will be further consequences and
meetings to settle the dispute. My intentions have the
student's best interest in mind because of their
academic and personal success is my main priority.
