ANALYZE
Analyse the routines set by the Resource Teacher by answering the following questions.
1. Were the routines effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class? Why? Why not?
Yes, routines were very effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class because
children know what is expected and how to do certain things.

2. Which of those routines were systematic and consistently implemented? Explain your answer.
1. submission of assignments on time – as I observed assignments are like an introduction to
the next topic, collection of assignments is necessary to that the teacher can identify the
student that have prior knowledge about the topic and who does not.
2. Attendance – this is to monitor the student that needs to be disciplined about punctuality
3. Movement into the classroom – moving around the classroom is necessary for the teacher
so that he/she will know who among the student are really listening and also to help those
you need a little more explanation about the topic

REFLECT
Reflect on the various routines observed.
1. Which of the routines will you most likely apply in your class? Why? Why not?
As far as my consideration all listed routines should be apply in the class. Each routine has its
advantage that the teacher can use in the class to make a better learning environment

Activity 6.2 Listing down classroom rules.

Resource Teacher: Albert M. Torres Signature:
School: Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School Grade/Year Level:
Subject Area: Empowering Technology Date:

OBSERVE
Observe a class and list down the classroom rules formulated by the Resource Teacher. Cite
the importance of these rules.
Don’t talk while the teacher is discussing the lesson
With this rule the teacher can focus more in discussing the topic and learners can take note of the
lesson rather than talking. Learners can actively raise question along the discussion whenever he/she needs
more explanation about any part of the lesson.

Open Class Discussion

Learners can openly ask question about the topic that was discuss by the teacher and other students
can also share their understanding about the topic to their classmates.

Group Work
Learners learn to work as a group and share their knowledge to their groupmates. Creativity can also
be enhanced through this rule.

Classroom rules are imperative and must be reinforced for learner’s safety and security. Rules
also teach discipline and self-control. Rules eliminate stress and will provide a more pleasant,
secured and non-threatening environment. Rules ensure the students’ engagement and focus in their
classroom activities.

ANALYZE
1. Analyze each given rule. What circumstances led to the formulation of the rule?
Group Work – this is derived from the teacher observation on the students. Some students
excel with a certain topic and some don’t, by grouping them together each student can contribute
their knowledge and combine them to create a creative way of presenting their output.
2. Are classroom rules are really important?
Yes, rules are created to have a peaceful the harmonious environment. In the classroom rule
help the teacher to focus on discussing the lesson, student in return can also learn better with proper
discussion of the lesson.

REFLECT
Reflect on the various classroom rules set by the Resource Teacher. Will you have the same
rules? If not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain your answer.
Yes, I would willingly apply those rules to my class. A simple as the “stay on your seat” rule,
this will really help the teacher control the movement of the students within the classroom and focus
more on the lesson.
SHOW Your Learning Artifacts
Take some snapshots of the classroom routines employed by the Resource Teacher which are worth
emulating. Tell something about the pictures.
