ANALYZE

Analyze the routines set by the Resource Teacher by answering the following questions.
1.Were the routines effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class? Why? Why
not?
 Yes, because these routines are effectively followed by the students and
sustain the order inside the classroom. Without these daily routines it will
be difficult for the teacher to ensure the discipline and order inside the class.
2. Which of those routines were systematic and consistently implemented? Explain your
answer.
 The routines that were implemented in a systematic and consistent manner were
passing of papers, working in groups, submitting projects, asking questions
during lessons, participating in classroom activities, and checking of attendance
because these routines are implemented in order to maintain the students'
learning process.

Reflect on the various routines observed.

1.Which of the routines will you most likely apply in your class? Why? Why not?
 The routine that I most likely to apply in class is the -asking question during
lessons- because if they are able to raise questions therefore, they are listening
to my discussion.

Activity 6.2 Listing Down Classroom Rules

OBSERVE
Observe the class and list down the classroom rules formulated by the Resource
Teacher. Cite the importance of these rules.

Classroom rules are imperative and must be reinforced for learners’ safety and
security. Rules also teach discipline and self-control. Rules eliminate stress and will
provide a more pleasant, secured and non-threatening environment. Rules ensure the
students’ engagement and focus in their classroom activities.

Classroom Rules Importance

1. E. g. Read directions well. - Ensure less error in answering the
activity.

2. Arrived on time. -Ensures less tardiness in class.

3. Do not practice cheating. -Ensure fairness to all and avoid this bad
habit.

4. Listen to instructions -avoid repetition of instruction and

comprehensively. exercise comprehensive listening.

5. Do not disturb classmates while -Avoid distractions and exercise

studying. comprehensive listening.

6. Respect all given ideas in class -Practice respect to the ideas or thoughts
and do not criticize anybody’s ideas of every learner.
or thoughts.

ANALYZE

1. Analyze each given rule. What circumstances led to the formulation of the rule?
 These rules were being formulated to regularize a functional and classroom
management. These rules will also help the teacher to create a positive and
conducive learning environment throughout the learning period.

2. Are classroom rules really important?

 Yes, classroom rules are really important for the teacher to keep her students
healthy show them what is and isn’t acceptable activity in the classroom. The
rules of the classroom are intended to show student a correct and healthy way of
behaving inside the classroom and thereby enhance the learning of the student.
If they don’t have rules to obey, it is going to be messy situation.

Reflect on the various classroom rules set by the Resource Teacher. Will you have the
same rules? If not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain your answer.
 No, because for me rules are the fundamental covenant that should be obeyed
inside my classroom environment. If I were the teacher, I will implement the
following rules inside my classroom and these are:
1. Arrived on time, if you got late you ask an apology to the teacher.
2. Avoid cheating, this will practice you to be a bad person.
3. Listen to the given instructions comprehensively.
4. You do not have the right to criticize and neglect classmates’ ideas but rather
respect it.
5. The use of smartphones, laptop and other technology devices is strictly
prohibited unless it is needed.
I think these rules are the most important things that a student should be
reminded because it will help them practice real attitude that they should know.
These are systematic rules that need to obey for it will help them grow
positively.
