ANALYZE

Analyze the routines set by the Resource Teacher by answering the following questions.
1. Were the routines effective in ensuring discipline and order in the class? Why? Why
not?
 Yes, because these routines are effectively followed by the students and sustain the
order inside the classroom. Without these daily routines it will be difficult for the
teacher to ensure the discipline and order inside the class. Routines do not just make
your life easier, they save valuable classroom time.

2. Which of those routines were systematic and consistently implemented? Explain your
answer.
 For me, arranging books and other school materials, opening prayer, singing national
anthem and exercise, working in groups, asking questions during lessons,
participating in classroom activities, lining up, and checking attendance were all
systematic and consistent routines that were implemented in order to keep the
students' learning process going. And what’s most important, efficient and
systematic routines make it easier for students to learn and achieve more.

REFLECT
Reflect on the routines observed.
1. Which of the routines will you most likely apply in your class? Why? Why not?
 When routines and procedures are carefully taught, modeled, and established in the
classroom, children know what’s expected of them and how to do certain things on
their own. These are the most essential routines that a classroom should have or
mostly I will apply: passing papers, working in pairs and groups, submitting
/collecting materials, submitting projects, asking questions during classes, and
monitoring attendance. Having these predictable patterns in place allows teachers to
spend more time in meaningful instruction. These practices will assist me in
maintaining student discipline and learning process in my classroom.

OBSERVE
Observe a class and list down the classroom rules formulated by the Resource Teacher. Cite
the importance of these rules.
Classroom rules are imperative and must be reinforced for learners’ safety and security.
Rules also teach discipline and self-control. Rules eliminate stress and will provide a more
pleasant, secured and non-threatening environment. Rules ensure the students engagement
and focus in their classroom activities.

Classroom Rules Importance

1. E.g. Read directions well. - Ensures less error in answering the activity

2. Arrived on time - Prevents students from being late for class.

3. Do not disturb classmates while - Avoid becoming a distraction to individuals
studying. who
are studying quietly.
4. Pay close attention to the directions. - Avoid repetition of instruction and practice
active listening.

5. Do not practice cheating - Ensure fair to all play and avoid this bad
manner

6. Respect all ideas presented in class - Practice respect for each learner's views or
and do not criticize anyone's thoughts.
opinions or ideas.

ANALYZE

1. Analyze each given rule. What circumstances led to the formulation of the rule?
 These guidelines were created to keep an effective and classroom management
system in order. It will assist the teacher in removing unnecessary behaviors and
undesirable habits from the classroom. These guidelines will also assist the teacher
in maintaining a pleasant and conducive learning atmosphere throughout the school
day. Discuss each rule individually, explaining the rationale behind it and ask for
examples of how it could be broken.

2. Are classroom rules really important?
 Yes! Rules are more important than consequences because without them there is no
concrete ground reasoning for consequences. Classroom rules are the foundation for
a functional and successful classroom in any setting. Classroom rules every teacher
must keep students healthy and demonstrate what is and is not an appropriate
classroom activity. The classroom rules are meant to demonstrate to students a
proper and healthy manner of acting in the classroom, therefore enhancing their
learning. Every minute at school is essential. It would be a chaotic scenario if the
pupils do not have any rules to follow. This might lead to students physically and/or
mentally harming one another. Furthermore, as they grow older, the student will be
unable to grasp proper social behavior.

REFLECT
Reflect on the various classroom rules set by the Resource Teacher. Will you have the same
rules? If not, what rules are you going to employ? Explain your answer.
 Yes, inside my own educational setting, regulations are the fundamental covenant
that must be followed. Teachers should have a vision of the rules that they want to
govern their classroom. If I were the teacher, I would precisely implement same
rules in my classroom most especially these rules:
1. Arrived on time, and if you were late, you apologized to the teacher.
2. Don't cheat; cheating teaches you to be a bad person.
3. Pay close attention to the directions presented.
4. You do not have the authority to criticize or dismiss the views of your classmates,
but rather to respect them.
5. Use cellphones, laptops, and other electronic devices only when absolutely
required.
These are the most essential rules that a pupil should be reminded of. These rules
will assist them in practicing the reality attitude that they should be aware of. These
are systematic guidelines that must be followed in order for things to flourish in a
beneficial manner. I always try to explain the reasons behind my rules and decisions
and I will not accept excuses from a student who is tardy.

SHOW Your Learning Artifacts
Take some snapshots of the classroom routines employed by the Resource Teacher which are worth
emulating. Tell something about the pictures.

We help the learners realize that there is someone beyond us who is all-powerful, all-wise, all-just,
and all-good, someone who makes sense of the universe. Then our students are more equipped to
become good citizens of earth and heaven.

Discipline like fall in line in the classroom helps pupils in remaining focused on their studies. A
disciplined pupil can stay focused on his objectives and prioritize his work. This kind of attention
carries over into pupils' lives outside of school, allowing them to maintain high standards in all aspects
of their lives.

Group work may be a powerful tool for motivating students, encouraging active learning, and
developing critical-thinking, communication, and decision-making abilities. Group work, on the other
hand, can frustrate students and teachers and feel like a waste of time if it is not carefully planned and
facilitated.

The classroom's thoughtful physical arrangement influences students in anticipating and

participating in the activity, as well as adjusting their behavior in each area. A well-designed classroom
has clearly defined boundaries that designate where various activities will take place.
