ABOUT ME ABOUT ME : In the school of Architecture, i learned and devel-
oped skills around designs and interpretation, and Architec-
tural concept around function, aesthetic, cost and durability.
I have interest around high-rise architecture, interior design
and commercial architecture, though I am more than glad if
i were given any other chance to learn about new architec-
tures.

From the experience of my internships i come to learn more

about how to handle task around groups or indivual tasks.
teaching me new things and rules around working environ-
ment also developed my communication skills.

AND. BAKERY AND HOUSE :

This was the second architectural project that i had when i
study architecture. The point of the task was to design a build-
ing with dual function with commercial which i chose bakery
and cafe also a house.

This design focused on making a house and commercial use

at the same time, where the rules of these two function is
very different, it has to mantain the harmony.

The architecture for both building made to be blend in one, but

the function of the buildings are totally separated by walls mean-
ing Non Public space has more safety
 2. DELI RIVERSIDE APARTMENT
AND BUSINESS AREA

The bui;ding consists of two masses, 8 levels are the building for Apartment
building, and smaller mass as in 5 levels for Business Area.

The two buildings are connected with a sky bridge that also can be the main
attraction of the building

DELI RIVERSIDE:

This Hotel and Business Area is located right beside Deli River,
Medan’s longest river. this gives advantages for the design to
have sighting towards the river, made with design mimicking
a hill, as the main attraction of the area
 3. SPORA HOTEL AND Concept: Biomimicry
CONVENTION CENTRE The design of this building use biomimicry approach for designing mass. the
shape of mushrooms that grow near old stems of a tree become an inspira-
tion for this building. with the shape of circles and high rise building for thre
tree.

SPORA HOTEL AND CONVENTION CENTRE

This Hotel and Convention Centre are meant to be on the Province level. As a
destination for tourist attraction and also bussiness trip. This place accomo-
date convention halls, convention centre for large quantity of users such as
music concerts or opera and meeting room for business people.

This building is separated by two mass. One is a high rise building with the
function as hotel

and the other one is a wide span building with the function as Convention
Centre

 4. CULTURAL CENTRE OF DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE

NORTH SUMATERA Design process of this building uses Neo Vernacular approach in which using
North Sumatera’s ethnic culture and making it with modern materials. North
Sumatera has several indigenous ethnic groups and this design will use three
of them. Thus are Batak Nias, and Melayu.

CULTURAL CENTRE OF NORTH SUMATERA

This project is my Final Project. I chose cultural view as the topic and with
the discussions with my lecturer i chose to design a cultural centre in North
Sumatera.

North Sumatera is one of the Province in Indonesia that is well known with
the varieties of ethnic groups’ culture and arts living in harmony. This Province
badly needed a good platform for the people to exchange art and cultures

This project is an architecture competition projecr with some basic rules such
as:
1. Has to be compact (Place is not mandatory but the area are restricted be-
cause it is a small house
2. Has to have cultural value of the place
3. Has all the room asked
