February 2023 Dear Sir/Madam, It is a pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Mrs. Taylor Griepsma. I have had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Griepsma during the 2019-2020 school year. As the Principal at Holder School and Mrs. Griepsma’s direct supervisor, I have had the opportunity to observe Mrs. Griepsma in variety of situations. It didn’t take long to see that Mrs. Griepsma is an outstanding teacher who has high expectations for herself and her students. She is extremely dedicated to her students” sucess. She uses a combination of good teaching strategies, technology, and personal experiences to ensure that her students have the best opportunity to be successful. As a fifth/sixth grade combo teacher Taylor demonstrated her flexibility and dedication to her students and peers throughout the school year. In the time that I have worked with Mrs. Griepsma, I can report that no matter the situation Mrs. Griepsma always demonstrated dignity, respect and encouragement for her students, parents and other staff members. She is a team player that is willing and able to take the lead when necessary or step back and support others as needed. Mrs. Griepsma works well with students, staff, parents and administration. She is willing to take on assignments and challenges that benefit the school community and students she serves. She is dedicated, dependable, fair, consistent and works hard to support her students and the school community as a whole. Mrs. Griepsma’s calm cool demeanor allows her to hold her students to a high academic and behavioral standard in a way that demonstrates to her students and parents that she truly cares about them and always has their best interest in mind, Mrs. Griepsma is also an excellent communicator. She works closely with students, parents, peers and administration in order to maximize student performance.
