What is Social Emotional Learning? Activity #1 : Mood Meter


Social Emotional Learning, also called SEL is made up
of 5 competencies: self awareness, self management,
social awareness, relationship skills, and making
responsible decisions. SEL helps students regulate their
emotions and make good decisions at school and at
home.

Activity #2 : Guided Imagery Let’s Try it Together!


● You can use Guided Imagery when students
are coming in from recess or lunch.
● Shut off all the lights in the classroom and as
students enter the classroom, have the video
playing.
● Ask them to quietly sit down and put there
head down.

down after being out of the classroom for a

How to Use T.I.P.P Important Notes:
