Science Club and Youth for Environment in School’s Organization (YES-O)
Election of Officers

Participants: Grades 7 – 12 Classroom Presidents and Representatives

It was February 13th, 2023, in 12nn when we began the election of the officers for both
YES-O and Science clubs in the school lobby, we started nominating for the YES-O officers, then
moved on to nominating for science club officers, and the nominees were chosen by the Grade
7, Grade 8, Grade 9, Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12 students of the club.
They introduced themselves one by one as the students decided who would be the best
fit for the position. Joy Alinsunurin was elected as the President, Kathleen Egoc was elected as
the Vice President, Kenji Cayzer Jao was elected as the Secretary, Cheska Louise was elected as
the Treasurer, and Saud Zulueta was elected as the Auditor. As for the representatives, for
grade 7, Cayn Serentas was elected, for grade 8 Michaela Robles was elected, For Grade 9,
Ryza Margareth Lerin was elected, for grade 10 Jenny Catama was elected, and for grades 11
& 12 Ms. Gustilo was elected. An hour passed, and the members of both clubs started packing
up their things and left while the officers of both clubs remained behind to hold a small
meeting. After that, the officers of both clubs stood up and left.
