REPORT FOR KABANGA BORDER

I have friend already who will help to obtain details, I have meet different people at border, I have not
got detail up to now because TRA they are updating their system so when it okay we will get it.

3. I meet Mr Mlope this guy is a agent of clearing and forwad company(NUTRICARE LTD), this company
is dealing with TWIGA CEMENT only. Is not allowed to deal with another brand of cement
this guy he told me minimum number of truck per month from TWIGA Cement going to burundi
is 30Truck, sometimes goes up to 90Truck but for month of december and november was constant of

4. Also I meet another agent Mr Abdul this guy is working under ARUSHA CARGO CLEARING AND FORWAD
this company is dealing with any brand of cement but mostly deal with SIMBA AND DANGOTE. His

These guys gave me brief on the procedure for export at this border as follows
1. customer must have invoice and parking list from manufacturer example LAKE CEMENT
2. customer will submit invoice and parking list to Agent of his/her nation if Burundi customer must have
agent of burundi.
3. This agent of Burundi will create EXIT NOTE.
4. This EXIT NOTE created by agent from BURUNDI must be submitted to agent of TANZANIA, for this case
customer may have another agent at Tanzania or manufacturer may have agent in TANZANIA example
TWIGA CEMENT they have Agent who is dealing with their cement(NUTRICARE LTD)
5. This agent of Tanzania his role is to create C2 if the cement is going EAST AFRICA nations if its
out of EAST AFRICA will create ASSESMENT DOCUMENT
6. This C2 OR ASSESMENT document is like get pass, agent will submit to TRA OFFICER THEN TRA OFFICER
WILL APPROVE.
7. THEN DRIVER WILL BE ALLOWED TO CROSS BORDER WITH THAT C2 DOCUMENT and another copy will be
returned to manufacturer.
