Please note that today in Farha one of our tipper was about to rollover due to sudden failure of
battery. The vehicle went off to the edge of the road but fortunately avoided major
accident(Rollover). The workshop team has rectified the issue temporarily and vehicle has been sent

Your concerns are genuine and well received. I do agree that managing the site QC works with only 1
QC Engineer is difficult. That’s why we have 2 QC Engineers along with 1 QC inspector and 2 Lab
Technicians until last week when 2 of our QC staff caught up in emergencies.

As you know that Oman Labour Law does not allow a company to stop any employee from leaving
during emergency situations. Unfortunately for us, 2 of our QC staff had emergencies at the same
time so they had to leave immediately. Mr. Venkatesh left first and when Mr. Tanveer wanted to leave,
we tried to delay his leave until Mr. Venkatesh return. But he left the site without informing to anyone
and directly approached our HR with a threatening tone. His mental situation was also distressing. So
our HR department did not want to take any chance and released him immediately.

However, I have shortlisted another candidate who is available to join immediately. I will interview him
today and if found suitable, would propose him for your assessment soon.

Moreover, I would like to recall similar situation which occurred last year when Mr. Sandeep left the
site and Mr. Rohit was left alone to handle the daily QC activities along with 2 Lab Technicians. It was
then, when we decided to deploy an additional QC at site to act as a reliever in emergencies. However,
this is one such situation where we do not have any option.
Hopefully, you would understand the situation and provide your support as I am trying to bring in
another QC staff at the earliest.

We urgently require the planned date of arrival for the replacement Quality Control Inspector (QCI).
Additionally, we need a comprehensive plan for QC monitoring and control during the specified
period until the shortage of QC manpower in the site is resolved.

It is crucial to note that CCED QCD cannot accept the continued normal progression of work with
only one Quality Control Engineer (QCE) overseeing all Jalmood construction activities in both blocks.

Secondly, we are getting repeated push from AHPS on non-availability of fronts to complete the
approach piping.
The plan was to complete the civil works by end of December 23 and we are being charged with
standby /idling charges of crew from AHPS since then.
