MARKETING REPORT FOR AUGUST 2020

In this marketing report i have tried to make some evaluations and follow-up for the market survey held
on june2020.

In this market survey i made some evaluations by passing different districts of lindi and mtwara regions,
such as

(i)LINDI
(I)King J OIL

In this region i passed at king j oil and meet with station manager who is the exactly operation mgr of
the station and discuss about our business and look how business is going very slowly, and what i have
realised from him they are insufficient of capital employed and they are in recession period, and now
they dealing with one of broker in dsm who supplying them the fuels without any security.

Comment: though he refuse to supply him on credit for the reason has already mortgage his station,bt
promised when returned on booming period he will give us order as direct sales

(II) Najma petrol station

Also i passed at najma petrol station and have some talks with him about our business,mr najma show
some interest with our price and stick on promiss he will give us orders for the coming days.

Comment;let us keep on patient, am still keep in touch with him and see how to takeover that potential
for supplying him.

NEWALA:

Also In this district i passed to S.B f/s and NYAMBI F/S.

(III)S.B FILLING STATION

In this station i tried to meet physically with the owner but he was not around, but what i heard he
undergo bankrupt and almost 2months passed the station was out of service

Comment; Still we can supply him and let us give some more times for mobilizing the capital according
to the owner and am still keep in touched and see how to commence the business with him.

(IV)NYAMBI F/S.

I passed to this station the owner was not around also and even the station was not yet started as you
know is the new station, i give call the owner and said he finished everything, and only waiting for ewura
final inspection and give him ahead to open.

Comment; also the coming days we shall supply him once the station will tick off, let us keep on waiting
for him to get permission to continue.

TANDAHIMBA

In this district i passed at TSN OIL (T) LTD,SAM OIL,MATALA,L.S.S

(V)T.S.N OIL (T) LTD

I got the station was out of service hence they are looking altenative way of getting the capital, this is
according to zonal manager Mr.Mussa Saleh Msella

Comment:

Am still in talks with him(zone manager) and he is already give us his personal tittle deed as collateral
for supplying him on credit.

(VI)SAM OIL

The owner of the station mr. Saidi mostly preffered to source at SAHARA DEPOT,bt stick on promise to
source to us the coming days and he was only interested with measurements during loading rather than
other company.

Comments;we have already done the business with him,also is only about time the coming days we shall
supply him

MATALA

This found at mahuta area,during the time we have made the research the guy promise to work with
us,unfortunately they have passed in recession period which lead them even decide selling their
different petrol station. And even the time i passed i got the station was closed

Comment;its very small scale for him to supply the fuels,unless they will be back in booming period
(VII)LIPUTA SERVICE STATION

also i passed to this station mr.karimu(l.s.s MD) has interested also to work with us bt the only obstacle
lead to fail to supply him,he only demand the handsome price at dare s salaam and transport rate to be
charged

comment; though he was demanding that case still i use to talk with him everyday to see how to source
this means of transport and source with us at dare s salaam depot as direct sales.

LIWALE

In this district the potential of supplying their products(go &pms) now days has becoming very lower,
this was due to the fact that,

There is only four station such as;

(i)wangido f/s

(ii)JR F/S

(iii)rashal

(iv)l.s.s

(i)wangindo

The owner still refuse to work with us as he had said last time, he doesn’t want to work with any
company and is working with only one company and he don’t want to expose any information

(ii)JR F/S

And in this station mr.JAFAR(M.D) was undergo bankrupt to run the station, and the passed three month
was closed, and when i passed their i got the station was already leased by dolphin company, as you
know that company have bad reputation and you can’t work with them.

(iii)LIPUTA SERVICE STATION

Also in this station is the same thing i have explained at Tandahimba because is one of branches of
liputa company

RUANGWA

At ruangwa district there is five stations such as

(i)three stations for mbuyuni (moh’d bakari)

(ii)T.S.N

(iii)Rashal

(i)mbuyuni f/s

At mbuyuni stations, i have tried to talk with M.D mr mohd bakari, he tried to work with us but he was
restricted with his current supplier(oryx) by feard to be sued once he will not archieve the target signed
in the contract/supply agreement, according to him he was misunderstanding the new ewura regulation
on the issue of agreement between the client and supplier,so the second part(oryx) use as an advantage
once you enter agreement with them

Comment:I have tried to explain to him the new ewura regulation and convice him,bt still the issue of
comprehending that logic is going very slowly.i hope the coming days we shall do the business

MANGAKA(NANYUMBU)

Mabrouk

This found at nakapanya area,previous survey i stated was new station but now has started to work and
what i have realize also in this station they are the same with the owners of l.s.s and fountain and they
have the same policy or arguments fo only transport cost they will incurred after offering the depot
price

Comment:also we are in talks once they will sort the issue of transport we shall do the business with
them,they only preferred to source at dare s salaam depot

Raki oil f/s

Also as you can see this station we had tried to work with this station but the competition is very stiff
interms of price.

And i spoke with the owner mr.rashid also said that, he will be ready to work with us by considering the
depot price and transport rate as Olympic ptroleum done by delivery on his station

Comment: it seems that Olympic has becoming an obstacle in our market interms of price on margin
creation, by charging only transport rate plus dar es salaam depot price. though is not the big deal and
the owner show some interest to work with us on credit by mortgage his station.

Bin awadha

This is a new station and still is not yet completed

Dua f/station

In this station as you know was a new station bt now is already completed constructed and they
struggling to get ewura licence.

Comment:i hope so once ewura will be out our business will tickoff.

MASASI

At masasi district there are rashal,uheche,mkuti,tsn,mount meru and fountain

Mkuti s/s

The owner of this station was not around,by the way i met with his station manger and promise we
shall talks once the owner mr. azizi he will be around

NACHINGWEA

At this district there jameel stations,najma,asam oil and mount meru f/s and liputa.s.s at kilimarondo

Jameel stations

Mr basher also stick on promiss he will work with us for the coming days and made some excuse for this
time that has some balance to another company he want to finish fast

Comment; though is not a big deal about the contract even us has already signed the ewura agreement
of supplying the fuels, let’s keep on waiting for the time being we shall supply him.
