Monday

1. Called and sent out company profiles to new prospects in Klerksdorp:

2. Booked an appointment with the new store foreman at 20#. Their 10120 is more than 10 years old.
Tuesday
1. Attended a meeting with Thami Mafe at 20#. We talked about the machine being too old, that’s why it
is constantly breaking down. Also enlightened him of the trade in option. He asked that I make him a
quote although the purchase would be for 2022 with their new budget.
• He also asked for feedback on their machine that has been at our workshop now for quite
some time.
2. Abraham who works for a contractor at Eland called to find out when are they getting the quote for
2xOperator training and that the contractor would like to come and arrange for an “account” with us if
possible so that they can always service with us on a 30days payment arrangement. Reported to Joyce
about the account issue and she said she will give me feedback.
3. Called Sony Boy, a foreman at Impala 14# and he said their machine is up and running for now, but
should he have a problem he will let me know.
4. Called Molefi at Kopaneng to follow up on the rental quotation they did. He said he sent the quote to
the relevant person; they will put in an order soon.
 Wednesday
1. Went to Coca-Cola Zinniaville to try and speak to the Manager, Fatima Mohammed as this is a busy
season for them, wanted to present ourselves to her. Unfortunately, she was not there as she is on
leave and will only be back next week.
2. Scouted a few Impala shafts that I saw we don’t have on record/have not worked with them
• 6#- They are not really a shaft anymore; they mostly conduct trainings on the shaft.
• 9#-Shaft is closed
• 4#-Shaft is closed
• 16#- got some contacts at the security gate.
3. Went to Zinniaville industrial to look for new business. Managed to give our profile to:
• Rustenburg Steel Construction
• S&S Engineering
4. Called Paul from Transport, he said he has already organized what he needs with Jonathan and he is
good for now.
5. Met the site administrator of Modi mining on 16#, talked to her about us wanting to do business with
them in terms of machinery, she said I should send our profile to their Rustenburg office (which I
already did). She said everything is done through their office.

Thursday
1. Called Lefentse at BRPM and he has an issue with their rental forklift. The hours show that it is due for
service but it has not been serviced yet. He needs to send another order for extension of the machine
rental but the people from accounts will not approve until the machine is serviced. Reported it to
Jonathan and he said he is just waiting for parts, as soon as they are here, he will service.
2. Booked an appointment with Kagiso from Thembelani 1# for tomorrow, they have issues with their 2
rental machines and their machine.

Friday
1. Went to Thembelani to meet with Kagiso who is a foreman under Heath. He complained that they
have 2 rented M-X 70-2s of which 1 was stripped to repair the other. The stripped machine has been
standing without being fixed for about 3 months now. He also mentioned that the seats on the
machines need replacing. He asked that we please help them especially with the rental machine that is
stripped. Reported the matter to Jonathan and he said he will sort it out.
