In this activity, my students are going to use ABCya! Paint and Draw to create a drawing illustrating

the ways in which these three tribes lived .

 Activity
1. Teacher will educate students on the Powhatan, Lakota, and Pueblo tribes. Including
information and images on the structures/homes the tribes make and live in. What
each tribe uses to hunt, and what each tribe uses for transportation. Along with this,
the students will be educated on what type of climate and environment each of these
tribes is located in.

2. The students will then go onto ABCya! On their Ipads/Chromebook and go into the
story maker section for K-2 nd graders. They will use the draw tools to sketch images of
what the Powhatan, Lakota, and Pueblo tribes environment would look like including
images of their homes, hunting weapons, and transportation sources. As well as
including things such as trees, lakes, deserts, or whatever environmental features are
in the location of each tribe.

3. Students will then partner up and share their drawings with another student,
explaining what they drew and describing how each tribe used the environment
around them.
