To be enrolled, members will need the following:

•Youth Member’s Handbook

•Red Cross Youth Badges
•Tie (plain black)
•Red Cross Youth Pin
•Red Cross Hat
•Red Cross uniform

All the above items, except the uniform is available for purchase at the Jamaica Red Cross
National Headquarters. Whenever a member is publicly functioning as a representative of the
society he or she should wear the correct uniform and behave in a manner which is in keeping
with the principles of the organization. The uniform is as follows:

Girls: A white shirt blouse with a Red Cross badge on the left sleeve, a white pleated skirt, black
tie and red cap with a Red Cross badge on the right side, black shoes and black socks, brown
shoes and brown socks, or white shoes and white socks. (The skirt should be two inches below
the knees).

Boys: White shirt with Red Cross badges on both sleeves, black tie, black dress pants and
matching shoes and socks
