This codex supplement provides a new way to field a Codex: Chaos Space Marines army, and is to
be treated as a new stand alone army.
Allies
Codex: Night Lords armies follow the same allies table as Codex: Chaos Space Marines, with the
following exceptions:
Codex: Chaos Space Marines and any of its supplements are as Allies of Convenience
Codex: Chaos Daemons and any of its supplements are Desperate Allies.
Codex: Eldar and any of its supplements are Come the Apocalypse.
Legion Veterans.
A unit of Chosen may be upgraded with the Legion Veterans special rule. Legion Veterans gives the
unit the Stealth special rule and +1 WS.
5 pts/model.
Any Legion Veteran may also take a Nostraman Chainglaive for 3 pts/model. A Nostraman
Chainglaive is an AP4 Close Combat Weapon.
Prophetic Visions
Any Champion in a Night Lords unit may be upgraded to have Prophetic Visions. Models with
Prophetic Visions are level 1 psykers who must take their psychic powers from the Divination table.
A model with Prophetic Visions does not suffer any wounds from a Perils of the Warp attack, but in
the turn after they use a Divination power successfully, they are WS1, BS1 and I1. In addition,
models with this rule may not cast psychic powers in the turn following a turn that they have cast a
psychic power in.

Night Lords Army
On any turn in which Night Fighting is in effect any model with the Veterans of the Long War
special rule also have the Stealth special rule. All models from Codex: Night Lords have the Fear
and Night Vision special rules. Night Lords are I1 against Blind tests.
Warlord Traits
1 Operates in Darkness – The Night Fighting rules are in effect.
3 Sons of Nostramo – The Warlord and any unit he joins has the Hit and Run rule.
4 Nostraman Blood – The Warlords leadership value may be used by any unit with the Veterans of
the Long War special rule within 18".
5 Infiltration Experts – Nominate up to D3 infantry units in your army. Those units gain the
Infiltrate special rule.
6 Sustained by Hatred – The Warlord and all friendly units within 12" of the Warlord have the
Preferred Enemy(Space Marines) special rule.
Artifacts of the VIII Legion
1. Sevatar's Chainglaive – This chainglaive once belonged to the Prince of Crows, captain of the
Atramentar.
This is a two handed Power Spear (Lance) which grants the wielder the Rage and Furious Charge
USRs on any turn it is used. In addition, the AP value is changed to AP2/AP3 instead of AP3/AP4.
In addition, deep-striking terminator units may also opt to deep-strike within 6" of a model with this
weapon instead of scattering, due to the weapons built-in teleport homer. This weapon replaces one
of the models weapons.

2. ???
3. Mercy and Forgiveness – These Lightning Claws are the very weapons that the Night Haunter
used throughout the Horus Heresy.
Mercy and Forgiveness are a pair of Lightening Claws that are AP2 and have the Shred special rule.
In addition, they replace two of the models weapons, rather than one.

4. Corona Nox – The Corona Nox was a sign of the Night Haunters office on Nostramo.
Fear tests taken against this model are at -3. All models within 12" gain And They Shall Know No
Fear. Models using this wargear gain the Eternal Warrior special rule. This wargear does not replace
any weapons.

5. The Nightmare Mantle - The original suit of armour worn by the Night haunter, refitted to
house an Astartes frame.
This wargear provides 2+ armour save and 4+ invulnerable save and grants Hit and Run. This
wargear does not replace any weapons.

Stratagems
Icons of Terror – After objectives are placed, but before units are deployed, place D3 Terror Icon
markers anywhere on the board. Each of these markers behaves as a Dirge Caster.
