PROJECT IDEA:

 Environmental Umbrella Bench

o To have more loitering area for students when there is:
 Schedule Vacancies
 Overpopulated Canteen
 Library Cut Off

DETAILED EXPLANATION:

One of the university’s priorities is the safety of the students. The university makes sure that the
institution is secured from any potential harms and accidents that can affect the students and university
staffs. However, students tend to exit from the premises of the university even if they still have
university schedules within the day. The reason students are going out the campus not only because
their schedule has ended, but also because they have long schedule vacancies, or the cafeterias are
overpopulated that students chose to eat outside university; occupied benches and library cut-off are
two of the reasons as well.

The security of the university will not affect those who are outside the premises. There are no
security guards and security personnels that can assure the safety of the students when they are not
present in the university. What if something bad happened to the students?

To ensure the security of the students by maintaining their presence in the university, why not
provide environmental umbrella benches where students who have long vacancies can have their space
while waiting, a space where they could take their lunch when cafeterias are populated, a space where
they can read their books when they are unable to enter in libraries?

With this project, the university would increase their level of security for their students.
Materials that would be used must be non-toxic, recycled, and environmentally friendly.
