The convenience of dorm placement directly on campus is hard to beat.

Students are two minutes away from rolling out of bed and getting to class.
Dorms are close to where students eat - particularly nice when you're too
busy doing homework to take much of a food break.

Plus, you don't have to clean your own bathroom!

Schoonover said, in the long run, convenience is just one of advantages of

dorm life. Studies show that students who live in the dorms have higher
grade-point averages than those who don't.

"Students that live on campus more readily use the services that can help
them," said Schoonover.

Living On-campus vs. Off-campus: a list
of pros and cons
By Caroline Eaton of Lee University 10/12/14

minutes before class starts and still making it on time. Simply put: living in a
dorm is the most convenient option because you are centrally located to your
campus. Theres no long commute, traffic or fear of being late.
