Content This course aims to introduce the theory and applications of mechatronic
systems including circuits, sensors, and actuators. Topics include mechatronic
system design, characterization, performance limitations, and noise.

Objectives Evaluating a comprehensive overview of mechatronics and fundamentals of


design;
Understanding the theory of circuits, and how the theory is used in practice.
Learning what type of sensors are used in mechatronics
Learning how microcontrollers used in mechatronic systems.

Learning LO1 Interpret physical principles applied in mechatronic systems

LO3 Examine various types of microcontrollers, sensors and actuators
