Creating My Alter-Ego

on your life.

Being a great speaker, networker, reader and adventurer are the qualities that

I wish I had. If I was a great speaker and networker, I would definitely have

a stronger relationships and wider networks. If I was a better reader, I would

have been a wiser and more knowledgeable person. If I was a great

adventurer, I would have enjoyed every second of my life without worrying

about the future.

2) List five people you admire.

3) Specify the appreciated qualities in two or three of admired people.

My Mother: I appreciate her ability to multitask, support her family

financially and emotionally, and satisfy her family members’ needs perfectly

and on time.
 LAU President Dr. Joseph G. Jabbra: I appreciate his great network and

strong relationships that took the LAU to the next level and made it one of

the top universities in Lebanon and Arab World. Moreover, he is a great

wise leader and thinker who successfully established a futuristic vision for

the LAU.

MEA Chairman-Director General Mr. Mohamad El Hout: I appreciate his

exceptional communication, management, and financial skills that brought

MEA back to life and that made it one of the most successful companies in

Lebanon. I also admire how he handled the financial crisis supporting his

employees, marketing for this company, and buying new airplanes to ensure

the company’s development and clients’ satisfaction.

Entrepreneur Elon Musk: I admire his ambitious character. This person has

no limits, he is not afraid of taking risks. Thus, he is the CEO of four

companies.

4) Create your Alter-ego.

The Joker. (I do not mean the criminal and the trouble maker character as

visualized in films and TV series). From my perspective, I meant with the

Joker the wise and mysterious person. He is the game changer. Moreover,

through his unexpected wide network, strong relationship, and exceptional

wisdom, he is able to achieve his goals slowly but steadily. The Joker has
 nothing impossible in his life since everything could be achieved by

endurance, preparation, and determination.

5) Choose a symbol that will evoke your Alter-Ego.

I chose my Casio Watch. Although I appreciate time, I did not choose it for

this reason. This watch is so special since it was my grandparents’ gift when

I succeeded in the Brevet. So, it was the first reward for my first

achievement. It reminds me of my grandparents and my family in general

who are always there to support me. Furthermore, since it was my first

reward, it always motivates me to work harder and score higher. Finally, this

watch stimulates the inner Hasan to get the best out of him.
