A Big Change?

A long time ago, traveling abroad or communicating with people who speaks a different

language was not part of our life. Today though, the world is more connected with technology

aid. There are a lot of changes that lead us think that the world is getting small.

Nowadays, if you like to travel overseas this could happen easily because airlines are

always offering discounted flights, tours and good offers to students or even backpackers who do

not have enough money to spend. These new transportation options give us a really good

opportunity to travel wherever we want because it is not only the airlines, but also buses, trains,

cruises, etc. that now are available to use, which are cheap and comfortable. Without technology

aid this could not happen, so the transport options have contributed to the accessibility of

different locations, and are helping our world become smaller.

Another point to take into consideration is the communication development which have

helped us a lot. It does not matter where you live because if you have a telephone you are able to

communicate with others who lives in another country different than yours, so you can even

being more connected with this foreign people more than the ones who live with. Nevertheless,

people who spend too much time in their cellphones tend to lose what is happening in real life.

Technology has given us a plenty of good opportunities, but we are losing control of this

by allowing technology have so much power over our lives. Don’t get me wrong: technology can

be a really useful thing, but we need to become the masters of it, rather than being mastered by it.
