There existed, in the cradle of the foundation of the world, four great ancient dragons.

Huifan (Volatility) Xing Shi, the fire dragon. His temperament was responsible for creating
all sorts of intense feelings in men, the extremes of the psyche. The violent love, the
unstoppable hatred, the repressed hurt, the desire to win and the unbearable bitterness of
defeat. From his eyes came the flame that ignited mankind with hope; But also fear, and
revenge. The mastery of the fire style is based on intensity, violence and insistence without
ever giving up, fast and voracious, ending everything in its path, just like the flames.

Liudòng (Fluidity) Xing Shi, the water dragon. His fluidity was the only thing able to quell
Huifan's intense fury, and it was the rivers of his blood that found the paths to life across the
land. His peace of mind and meekness brought the ability to think and reason logically, and
not only that but also the ability to forgive. Mastery of the water style is based on inner
peace, on a combat skill that is based on not strong but effective blows.

Wending (Stability) Xing Shi, the earth dragon. The face of stability, rock-founded tradition,
and all culture departed from the great earth dragon. His voice was what laid the foundation
on which great civilizations were built, where the first laws emerged, and where chaos lost its
place to order and irreproachable justice. The earth dragon style is known for its firm and
solid foundations, an impenetrable defense capable of withstanding anything, like a
mountain that is capable of withstanding the cruelest of earthquakes.

Xuanzé (Alternative) Xing Shi, the wind dragon. The most humorous of the four elder
brothers, the wind dragon was the one who brought artistry, comedy, and flexibility to the
lands. His hand benefited men with the ability to see solutions and alternative means to
circumvent problems that previously seemed impossible, breaking boundaries, overcoming
obstacles that were insurmountable before. Xuanzé's style is based on finding loopholes and
seizing the right moment to hit your enemy, destabilizing him when necessary, being creative
and fast as the wind in your movement across the battlefield.

Being a member of the Dragon Palm Monastery means learning and dedicating yourself to
one of the four styles. There is however a fifth style, known as Long Zheng, or "The Palm of
the Dragon". This legendary style, which gives the monastery its name, is known for
combining the skills of all four others to form an exceptional warrior in battle, unstoppable,
with physical, mental and spiritual constitution beyond any other.

However, despite their efforts, no one was able to fully master Long Zheng. The closest
person to that was the leader of the monastery, Thalia, who managed to perfectly master
only two styles, even knowing a little about the other two. Despite this, she believed that
someone would be able to perfectly master the legendary style, someone she was strict and
relentless in her training with, and whom she loved more than anything else in the world.
Unfortunately, that someone would never get the chance to complete his training.

However, the monastery walls tell that this style is not something learned, but given. It is said
that the wielder of Long Zheng would be taught to master the 4 styles not by humanoid
hands, but by the four elder dragons themselves, when appropriate. But this prophecy, now
part of the ruins of the ancient monastery, was lost to time over 100 years ago.
Or is it not?
