1. Check your specifications from the ASW code and fill in.

2. Highlight the sieves you will not be using and highlight column.

3. Record in the unhighlighted column,

4. Take a 100g sample of almonds from end of processing line (just before packing) using Non Aseptic Sampling Technique (see work
instructions)

5. Weigh each of the empty sieves and record.

6. Put sieves into sieve machine (See Work Instruction for Sieve Machine). Put 100g sample of almonds into sieves and perform sieve
test.

7. After sieve test has been performed weigh each of the full sieves. Record.

8. Work out the differential weight by subtracting the Empty sieve Weight from the Full Sieve Weight. Record in each of the columns
for each different sieve. (The sum of your differential weights should equal your sample size).
