MY TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Future generations have a lot to learn from teachers. They have served as our role
models for life achievement since we were little children, and it is their duty to teach us how
to plan for and succeed in the future.

I find that learner-centered teaching encourages learning that is both lasting and
purposeful. In order to create a curriculum that meets their requirements and provides room
for themes that arise through group discovery, it is my obligation as a prospective teacher to
understand who my learners are, what sorts of knowledge and experience they bring to the
group, and what they want to achieve. I can provide my students the scaffolding they need
to make connections between what they currently know and the new understandings they
are trying to develop by evaluating where they stand in relation to our shared learning
objectives. I embrace case based teaching and other active learning activities because they
stimulate intellectual camaraderie, argumentation, and cooperative problem solving and lay
the groundwork for life-long collaborative practice.

I choose to co-teach with colleagues whose knowledge and experience are

complimentary to mine because I feel that teachers who exhibit interest and enthusiasm
about a subject area stimulate pupils to study. Collaborating with academics who are
passionate about adopting social constructivist-inspired teaching strategies serves as an
example of how cooperation, diversity, and scholarship may improve teaching, learning,
and scholarship. It's also a lot of fun.

If the student views himself as more than simply a student—a friend, collaborator,
or even a sibling—then his interaction with the teacher will likewise be straightforward. It
was reportedly remarked by an unidentified author that "to educate is to affect lives
forever." A teacher, in my opinion, exists to serve. A teacher is dedicated to teaching, their
subject area, their students, and building the greatest future possible for all of us. These are
the challenges I opted to take on when I made the decision to become a teacher.
