ABSTRACT
DEVELOPMENT OF WASTE COLLECTION AND SEGREGATION ROBOT deal with and
Garbage Collection. In our daily life, we see the pictures of garbage bins being overfull and all the
garbage spills out. This leads to the number of diseases as large number of insects and mosquitoes
breed on it. A big challenge in the urban cities is solid waste management not only in India but for
most of the countries in the world. Hence, such a system has to be build which can eradicate this
problem or at least reduce it to the minimum level. Waste collection and segregation recycling are
effective ways of reducing dumped trash. Recycling is done manually by sorting the waste by the
human interface. Our project provides one of the most efficient ways to keep our environment
clean and green. With the increase in waste creation rate, well-built waste management has become
very essential. Dumped unmanaged wastes causes severe harm to humans and also severely affects
the environment. It additionally causes different climatic changes and obstructs the financial
development of nation. Dynamic raise in the quantity of waste and contemptible dumping of waste
has turn out to be a matter of worry, because of the threat it causes the big damage to environment.

This project aims to develop of an automated waste segregate system which avoids these troubles
and also reduces the complexity of recycling. Currently there are no such systems for auto
segregation. Our work proposes a smart wastes sorting system which consists of hardware and a
software system based on different sensors. This would help in easy recovery of useful and
recyclable items. To avoid health issues while segregating waste its better to use the automated
device to segregate waste at dump yards before dumping waste into landfills. Automated devices
will not only segregate waste properly but also avoid human errors in classifying waste.
Segregation is to sorting and separation of waste types to facilitate recycling and correct onward
disposal. When waste is sorted correctly. It will detect the overload of garbage by Buzzer call.The
Robot also gives the Messaging Info and the Data on amount of waste collection can be analysed
Graphically.
