ADVANCED EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY

REFLECTION
WHAT ABOUT BOB?

Coming to the climax of the film, Dr. Marvin has gone completely
insane. He has decided that Bob must die. Dr. Marvin informs Bob that this is
a psychological technique called Death Therapy. It is at this moment in which
Bob puts all of the pieces together and achieves his breakthrough. Bob
assesses the situation. He sees that he is tied up. He understands that he
cannot move, that he is stuck. Bob comes to the conclusion that being tied up
is a metaphor, for being tied up emotionally. His baggage and emotional issues
leave him tied up, unable to break free and be the person he was meant to be.
Bob then begins to start the Baby Steps.

The movie thought me that whatever problems and difficulty you

are experiencing you must face it with courage and hope to solve because at
the long run if you weren’t able to face that it would become a huge problem
and this time it might be very hard to face. Though if you are already in the
situation of troubles you must learn to apply the step on resolving problem
that starts with having baby steps. It means you need to face problems on a
step by step process allow yourself to act like a child that is still learning to
walk. The process might be slow and long but at least you will be healed.
