waste and improve efficiency in manufacturing processes. The
following are the main steps involved in TPS:
Just-In-Time (JIT) Manufacturing: JIT is a production strategy that
aims to produce products in the right quantity at the right time,
thereby reducing inventory costs and improving production efficiency.
Jidoka: Jidoka is a concept that allows machines to detect problems in
the manufacturing process and stop production immediately to
prevent defective products from being produced.
Kaizen: Kaizen means continuous improvement. It is a process of
constantly evaluating and improving the manufacturing process to
eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
