THIRD TERM DEBATES 1Batxillerat D

 Groups of 3/4 people; choose a topic you wish to debate about and decide if you are
all going to suport the idea or not or some will speak in favour and others against.
 You must do research on the topic, bring data and mention the sources,not just
express your opinion.
 You need to explain your points well and be persuasive.
 Use a range of structures, vocabulary and connectors.Long sentences, not just 2/3
words.
 Include connectors from the photocopy you have in click edu.
 No READING, only notes.
 The debate must last a mínimum of 20 minutes; marks are individual.
 Preparation for the debates in class will count as oral class mark.
 Class debate post group debate will be taken into consideration for oral class mark.
 If you are absent on the day of your presentation, you will have to explain your part of
the debate on your own the following day.
