Request Stemscopes Science Program Visit

Hi Tom,

I understand that you have adopted Stemscopes as a part of your science program.
We are still looking to observe some of the new NGSS offerings in practice, so I wanted to see if my science teacher and I could come to St. Anne and observe your program
with Stemscopes, particularly in the 6th - 8th grades.

We just took a tour of SVDP using Amplify, so if it’s possible, it would be great to visit before the break.
Let me know if this is reasonable to visit for a period or to, observe a teacher and get a general sense of how you like the program.

We are happy to have you and Jim visit to observe our StemScopes science program.  Kathy Phillips, our science teacher, enjoys having teachers come to see the program in
action.  
I am going to have Kathy respond to your request to find a date and time that will work for you and her class schedule etc.

Congratulations on finishing your WASC report- that is a huge accomplishment.  I have 7th grade on Tuesday from 1:20-2:05, and I repeat from 2:10-2:55 next week. Does
that work? We are currently working on the Characteristics of Chemical Reactions unit. I attached the page that the kids will have so you can see what we are doing. (I do have
to collect their science fair reports on Tuesday.  There will be a little bit of other stuff as I deal with some loose ends, but the kids like Chemistry and should be motivated to move
into the lab quickly!)

I have heard great things about Amplify, but I use STEMscopes. I have 7th grade Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. I do the same class 1:20-2:05 and 2:10-2:55. 3/3 or
3/5 are both lab days for that class. Here are the activities we will do those days if it works for you.
