Take a peek at our Week!
Reading: Questions? Our reading strategy

this week is asking questions as we read to

improve our reading comprehension.
Social Studies: Good Citizens. We will be
learning the qualities of a good citizen. Test
has been moved to this Friday.
Writing/Grammar: Strong Sentences. While

reviewing Subject and Predicate, we will

learn to expand sentences by answering
who, what, when, where, and why about
the subject.

Math: Round and Round We Go. In math this

week, we will learn how to round numbers to
the nearest ten and hundred. We will test over
place value on Friday.
Science: Scientific Process We will continue to
practice using the steps of the scientific
process by conducting science experiments
and review science safety.

Daily Expectations!
Students Make sure to bring a water bottle, healthy snack and
growth mindset each day! Also dont forget to get your nutshell
signed and return to school each day.

Id love to see all parents again at our Parent Orientation Night Tuesday, Sept 20th at 6:00 p.m. Its a
great night to come visit our classroom and learn about 3rd grade routines, expectations, and STAAR
testing, as well as important events that are upcoming in the life of your third grader. Ill also do my
best to answer any burning questions you may have. We have a lot of information to cover, so if at
all possible, the administration requests that children stay at home. Hope to see you there!
